Highly recommend Arne, good business and quality products! Thankyou Arne for the time you took to listen to our needs, discuss, explain and recommend products that suited our individual needs! We purchased 3 x Solar whiz BAL40 residential units each with day/night operations and hygrostat & thermostat kits prewired. We didn't require the solar… Read more · 1
panels as we already have solar installed on the house so this saved us money.
Arne is very honest and was quick to respond to our enquiries. Arne even found a cheaper freight option than sending to our home address and dispatched them quickly so the roofing team could install them whilst reroofing our home. much appreciated!!!
The thermostat and hygrostat were easy to program after googling settings for our area.
The units appear to be very high quality and well made... we're proud to support Australian businesses... we recommend you do too!
Thanks again Arne! Regards Lester and Jen
We brought a wall mounted solar whiz for a container that we store wood in. It was always full of condensation, but the solar whiz has solved the issue. We also installed a vent at the opposite end to help draw the air through. We are very happy with the results! Karen V Show reply
My contact with Solar Whizz was an extremely positive one. I was contacted, as arranged by a member of their team. Arne is a good listener and explained the product best suited to my needs and he answered in plain talk, all my questions. I recommend Solar Whizz… Thankyou for your advice which I appreciated. I originally purchased 8 different size internal solar lights in 2018. One of the lights finally gave up the ghost so i contacted Solar Whiz who informed me that the size was no longer available but they might still have one in stock. They did and the service was excellent.Good people to do business with. Colin Show reply
I contacted SolarWhiz for advice on their roof ventillation products. In the end they suggested other options that I should try first before installing a ventillation fan. Both the people I spoke to were thorough and extremely helpful and informative. I may still end up installing a SolarWhiz, in the meantime I am grateful for their help. Show reply
We had severe damp problem in roof space. Mould was growing on the internal walls. We were using dehumidifyers which needed to be emptied every 3 days. After we had a Solar Whiz installed, we are now emptying the dehumidifyer every 3 weeks and it should improve more as time passes. Show reply
Rattling and Grinding. Don't buy through Solair – The unit was sold through Solair on the central coast. After about a year (bought in 2021) the unit gradually became rattly and loud and vibrates. I had to pay $150 for Solair to come and look at it. He came on a cloudy day so of course it didn't make noise as it doesn't work without sun. He said it was the fault of the installer. As the unit is… Read more
grinding, I find it hard to believe it is the installation. The installer said he installed it as per instructions. Now Solair are blanking me. I have asked for a price to fix it and they don't even return the email. The guy who came just couldn't care less. I have contacted Solar Whiz who are very polite but no response. They put it back on Solair. So now we live with a grinding fan. Don't use Solair on the Central Coast. Their warranty means nothing.
Great service and support from the team – They are affordable and a great product, we opted to install ourselves and have an electrician do the connection. Arne and the team were great with support for install and trouble shooting.
