Assembly was easy, but can see if you are not used to heavy lifting, it could pose a challenge for some.This has been one of our best purchases for our home. Worth Every Penny! Our only regret is we didn't buy it with a headboard, so we would love to see if ordering the headboard addition would be possible.

I am so glad I didnt go through the aged care system which required me to have a medical bed when I dont need one. And Sophie beds were right on to getting it to me, whereas the govt system would take months. I had a follow up phone call the next day from Leo to make sure all was ok. Harvey wouldnt do that!!!

On the service:

Original delivery was quoted 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks we emailed to enquire. After a follow up they finally responded and said it would be another 6-8 weeks (!).

We received an email saying all or part of our order was on its way to Melbourne - we just had to guess if it's all or part of the order. No delivery date. Then one day, we get home and it's on our porch (see pic).

On the product:

Workmanship isn't amazing. I know it's just the slats, but they're rough cut and unfinished and already showing signs of splitting. See pics. The middle support legs are also raw timber; so are.not protected from moisture

The bits you can see seem like they have a light coat of finish.

Not impressed with this for the wait and for the price. Def doesn't live up to the marketing spin.

the Nightmare of Elm Street. I have a Split Queen. I sleep alone and it lasted less than 4 years. I can only imagine that had there been 2 people sleeping in the bed it would have only lasted 2. My advice would be not to buy this bed. Don't get lured into thinking that it is better that the other beds on the market because it is more expensive, because it is not.

tossing up between a few colours and ended up going with ecru, which is a perfect neutral. I struggled with the assembly in the beginning as I didn't carefully read the instructions haha would definitely recommend assembling with another person to make things easier :) just need some storage drawers next!
