We did have an unexpected hold-up with Ausgrid due to close nearby powerlines, but Mitchell was very prompt in getting everything sorted and the build back on track. Since then, it has been fantastic to see so much progress happening at once, from the brickwork through to the interior, while maintaining a high standard of quality.

He clearly takes great pride in his work, maintains a high level of professionalism, and has a genuinely personal approach that made us feel supported every step of the way. No question or concern was ever too much trouble. The Construction Phase: The building process was where Coral Homes truly shined, largely thanks to our phenomenal Site Supervisor ([Name Removed]). His communication was flawless—we received detailed weekly progress updates that kept us entirely in the loop. He was completely "on the ball" and proactive. Whenever our independent building inspection reports raised a point, he addressed and rectified it immediately, ensuring total peace of mind.

Handover & Final Quality: Handover day was an absolute joy. The build quality is amazing, and the attention to detail is evident in every room. We’ve been incredibly impressed by how flawless the finish is—there has been very little rectification required post-handover, which speaks volumes about the standard of trades Coral Homes uses.

We have had a very disappointing experience with Coral Homes, particularly with the handover process. We have some custom items included in the build, but it looks like we may not be able to use some of them due to a lack of communication, particularly regarding the electrical items. We did verbally communicate these requirements to the… Read more

supervisor, but unfortunately, it appears that the information was not written down or properly documented. As a result, some of the items we discussed may now not be able to be used, which could result in additional costs for us after the build.

On the day of handover, the supervisor advised us that all QA1 inspections had been completed. Based on this representation, we signed the QA1 form without independently checking every item. We have since discovered that some of the items listed as completed had in fact not been completed.

We also raised an issue regarding significant scratches on our kitchen island bench. These scratches are clearly visible and appear to have been caused by tradespeople’s tools during construction. We specifically paid extra for the upgraded benchtop, so it is extremely disappointing to receive it in this condition. This upgrade is not cheap it cost us much for this and they don’t want to replace this.

Despite raising this issue by email, we were advised that Coral Homes will not attend to the damage based on the contract. We find this response very disappointing, particularly given that the damage appears to have occurred during the construction process and was present after handover. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and we hope Coral Homes will take the opportunity to address these concerns fairly rather than leaving us with damage that appears to have occurred during construction.
