I have heard nothing back.

I have just now rung the manufacturer (Ventair) in Melbourne myself and they confirmed that they have stock but no order has been placed with them from Discount Lighting & Fans.

Therefore, I now intend to go to another supplier recommended by Ventair.

I have requested a full refund.

I bought a ceiling fan from them. Waited 3 weeks for delivery. After 3 weeks got an update that it will be "delivered tomorrow". The next day I came into the office - they attempted delivery at 5.24am. Obviously no one was in the office to accept the delivery! which could take a week. If I had known I would have to wait almost a month to get a ceiling fan delivered I wouldnt not have bought it and just gone to the shops and picked it up.

I called the company and all they could say was "we'll call the delivery company and let you know when they can deliver it. I'll call you back with an update in 20 minutes". Its been 2 hours no call back.

If you cannot deliver stock to customers in a timely manner, then dont sell online.

Don't waste your time. I called to confirm they had stock and they confirmed I'd receive it within 7-10 days (not shipped, received as I clarified this over the phone. Place the order, email says it'll be shipped 7-10 days. Called on the 11th business day, "it'll be shipped today or tomorrow". Call at the end of 14th business day "it'll be shipped… Read more
