allocated Dave to manage our build. From the first phone call introducing himself to well after handover the communication was fantastic, no question was ever left unanswered and he was very efficient with following up and getting trades out to fix anything we queried along the way, then letting us know it had been done and either meeting on site or sending pictures /uploading photos to the app of completed work.
Dave is incredibly good at his job, Super knowledgeable and has a great eye for detail which really shows as our house was coming together. Thankyou Dave you made our whole experience amazing!
If i had to find anything that could be improved it would be the painters. Some of the painting is pretty rough and even after pci and them fixing it, Its still not great so I've had to fix alot of it myself. I wasn't expecting the painting to be at a super high standard but it could definitel improve.
Our build was finished around the time frame we were told it would be and and that was with some delays on trades.
All in all our building our home has been a pleasant experience and we.would happily build again with Eden Brae.

As this was our second build, we knew exactly what we wanted and had very high expectations and standards. To be honest, we probably weren’t the easiest clients to deal with, but David handled everything with professionalism, patience, and a smile on his face. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
Over the course of the build, David became more than just our Site Supervisor he became a friend. His dedication, communication, and genuine care made what can often be a stressful experience enjoyable and exciting.

Our site supervisor, Dylan Theuerjahr, was outstanding throughout the construction phase. He kept us regularly updated on progress with schedules and photos, and nearly everything was completed on time. He was communicative, responsive, and always made time to meet with us on-site. We appreciated his proactive approach - if something did not meet his standards, he would contact us to discuss it and keep the project moving forward. He clearly had excellent control over the trades and workflow, which gave us great confidence in the quality control of our build.
Overall, we are very satisfied with our building experience and would recommend the team. Our home was completed on time, and the overall process was transparent and well organised.

This was our third build with Eden Brae over the past 20 years, and the reason we keep coming back is exceptional quality, planning and overall experience. Our previous two homes were built to such a high standard that we never encountered maintenance issues during the years we lived in them. For this project, Dave reiterated that he didn’t want to rush—his priority was ensuring the workmanship and quality were done right. That commitment truly showed in the finished product.
Any minor issues we raised during construction were addressed promptly and professionally. Amanda, our Client Service Administrator during the admin phase, was fantastic—her communication and collaboration ensured our vision was achieved. Dave encouraged us to speak up about any concerns, and he worked quickly to resolve them to avoid delays. His proactive approach and genuine care made the entire experience stress-free.
Every home we’ve built with Eden Brae has been completed months ahead of the contracted timeframe. This latest build had a 54-week construction period in the contract, yet it was finished within just 10 months—without compromising on quality. That level of efficiency speaks volumes about their planning and execution.
We were realistic with our costs and prioritised what we wanted. Our tender included provisions for many upgrades that we knew from the beginning we wanted. For the size of the home and the quality delivered, we felt it was far more cost-effective than a custom build.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Eden Brae Homes delivered on every promise, and our site supervisor Dave went above and beyond to ensure our home was built to the highest standard. where we met Vito, an experienced and knowledgeable Sales Consultant. He was instrumental in helping us find the right home design. We still think Eden Brae Homes are thoughtfully designed, well-built, and have met our expectations for a new home.
Tender and Contract presentation was done by Tanya which was again a wonderful experience. The Tender and Contract were well explained to us and easy to comprehend.
The Colour Selection appointment with the consultants and interior designer James was both memorable and enjoyable. With James' professional guidance, the colour selection process was fun. Although we went slightly over budget, we're happy with the choices we made.
A special mention to our CSA, Amanda, who has been outstanding. She's competent, responsive to our queries, and consistently kept us informed throughout the Build-Presite process.
Follow-up · The new build was completed on time, and the quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations. We made a terrible mistake of building our family home thru Eden Brae Homes. They did not have properly qualified tradies. a very poor quality visible throughout in painting, flooring, plumbing, workmanship and quality. one defective item. It's very noisy and the dresser in our bedroom trembles when someone walking pass. They sent their dodgy maintenance guys who could not fix the problem. Stairs make noise when you going upstairs. The sliding door in the formal living are could not be aligned even after several attempts by their maintenance team. We are taking the matter to NCAT with a lot of defects. We are gobsmacked with the ratings awarded to EBH by Housing Building Industry Association. We will be lodging a formal complaint with all the industry regulators for breaching Sec 52 of TPA NSW for misleading and deceptive conduct, ACCC, ASIC to take action against the Directors. Never Ever refer EBH to anyone. Our friends who are building with over a $m budget signed with other builders after talking to us.

Attempted mediation but never received contact from Eden Brae. There was a severe lack of transparency throughout the build, with hidden costs arising after contract signing. that we could not move in sooner due to an extensive cleaning period; however, only a basic builder’s clean was completed, amounting to a quick dust wipe. Significant black marks on the kitchen bench top were raised throughout the build and were never properly resolved.
Upon receiving the keys, the home was in poor condition. The external brickwork showed inconsistent colouring and missing mortar. The garage door was dented and marked. The front door was covered in mud, and the new door handle was visibly marked, setting the tone for what followed.
Issues identified during the partial completion inspection were never properly rectified. We were repeatedly assured that defects would be resolved, yet ongoing follow-ups led nowhere. When maintenance was arranged, work was often left unfinished or made worse, and trades frequently failed to attend despite us rearranging our schedules.
The overall workmanship is extremely poor, particularly with painting, joinery and Di Lorenzo flooring. The quality of trades used was unacceptable. Improperly finished gyprock joints throughout the house along with cracks. Electrical work was not completed in accordance with the plans, and independent electricians later identified exposed wiring. Carpeting was incompletely installed, with nails protruding and causing injury. This issue was initially dismissed by the supervisor and only addressed after photographic evidence of injuries was provided, at which point maintenance confirmed the carpet had been installed incorrectly. Tiles were a different colour to those selected and confirmed in writing by Di Lorenzo. All windows are scratched, yet we have been told they simply require cleaning. Toilets are cracked, shower heads are broken and were installed incorrectly, causing excess splash.
The painting quality is substandard. We were charged extra for white paint, yet there are drip marks throughout the home, paint splashed over tiles and vanities, and multiple unresolved maintenance issues remain.
Overall, this was an extremely stressful experience from start to finish. The builder requires a serious review of customer experience, communication, and quality control. We would not recommend them.

Follow-up · We are now at actual build stage and I can say I am still very impressed with EB. Our site manager is oustanding. Anyone who has built knows the stress of time lines etc and communication with your site supervisor. For us Ben has been amazing, keeping us informed of any delays and the progress of the build.
