shop around year to year – Kogan will give you a good price to get you in and then heavily raise it upon renewal. My advice is shop around year to year. You will get a good price on all the other suppliers who operate on the same business model. My current policy just increased 35% to be $828.84 more expensive than the original. Expensive – Compare with other insurance companies, at renewal time I got a quote from Kogan Car Comprehensive Insurance which was 35% higher than our current AAMI renewal quote with identical criteria. Show details

difference of $1200 is disappointing and mindboggling. Stay away and do your research as their algorithms is now set to rip off customers similar to Coles and Woollies as they have no fear of any government.

Edit: on renewal Kogan no longer cheapest. You really have to shop around every renewal.
