I recently used Wade's pool stain remover to try and clear up stains in our fibreglass salt chlorinated pool. Delivery of the product arrived on time. day 12 I could see it had cleared about 50% of the stains, even tho the water was still a bit cloudy. I kept occasionally brushing the stains as per instructions but didn’t see any more improvement over the next few days. I thought that’s as good as it’s gonna get. Despite all my urges to shock the pool to try and hurry things along and clear the water, I kept following Wade's advice that the treatment was still working. By day 17 the stains were 99% gone but water still a bit cloudy. 2 weeks later chlorine levels were back to normal, stains completely gone. After adding a tiny amount of clarifier the water was 100% clear.

Big problem with suspected black algae in my concrete pebbble pool, 1st time I had experienced it, please never again. Slimy build up, all over the pool. I have carried out the complete process for the stain removal. Wow, what a product you have made. It has worked awesome. The stains have gone and every surface is looking like new. Follow-up · Thanks supplied product is easy to apply. Once it's added to the pool, you walk away and it does its magic. There's no scrubbing, brushing et cetera. From memory, the product comes in two bottles. You just pour and wait then add tge second bottle.

Follow-up · The stain was a brown stain on the sides and bottom. i used nothing but the stain remover products. In a couple days the stain was gone. I highly recommend this product and procedure .

little skeptical, but I also had nothing to lose, so I shelled out for the Stain Removal Kit, followed Wade's detailed video instructions, and then was completely blown away. Almost immediately the stains were getting lighter and lifting. The next morning the black stains were completely gone, as well as every gum leaf stain, and all that was left was a like new white pool bottom. My copper ionisation system was fine, and I learned I just needed to monitor my pool water better, so chalk it up to user error, but Wade and The Pool Stain Removers totally saved the day and my pool, and renewed my drive to maintain a nice, clean, beautiful pool. I intend to use The Pool Stain Removers' Stain and Scale Eliminator Liquid as maintenance every year now as I can't prevent all the gum leaves from sinking to the bottom of the pool.

We reached out to The Pool Stain Removers in late December 2024 and the metal stain treatment has been hugely successful, Wade educated us about the importance of maintaining pool water chemical balances and we carefully followed the video and hard copy product instructions. Wade was available to support us with any questions we had including on weekends and public holidays. After 3 months the pool is back on track and no signs of staining returning and we have learned so much about pool management and are no longer reliant on others.

will do a great job he said. After 2 weeks the stains didn’t budge, I contacted Wade once again, advised me to add chlorine, acid etc in. I went to the pool shop to buy my products, thankfully they urged me to do a water test. Things went from bad to worse, my free chlorine was non existent and combined chlorine level was 11.87 (chemical tech. Pool shop and all the information I found suggested this was not good to swim in, except Wade who said it was fine after doing a shock) The issue was each time we added chlorine, it made the combined levels higher. The non chlorine shock did not work. I can go on and on here but with 8 days out to Christmas, with both the stains still there and water in terrible condition I decided to drain the pool, acid wash it and refill. The pool shop owners were amazing, coming out to drain it, jumped in and acid scrubbed with me for 3 hours at no cost as they felt bad for me (I did buy them a thank you gift) Really disappointed with the experience, time spent and cost associated in this and no offer of refund from the pool stain removers company. I’m not one to give negative reviews on products or experiences, however, I do feel compelled to on this occasion. :-(

was wanting to remove. In the end I found that straight acid sprayed onto the stain and repeated applications until the stain stopped fizzing was the solution to my remove my stain. This product did throw out my pools chemistry for weeks and I did need to regularly add chlorine to my saltwater pool to keep it clear in the weeks that followed.
'Wade' cautiously into these waters – 'Wade' cautiously into these waters. Doesn't work. Wade is very friendly, helpful and a great advocate for his product - pity it's a total waste of money. I have a Quartzon pool (which Wade claimed to be very familiar with) and he gave me detailed instructions which I followed slavishly. Nada! Put the $200-$300 (2021 prices) towards a professional cleaning service!
Did not work for us – The Pool Stain Removers treatment had no effect on our staining. Wade said he had other options if it didn't work & wouldn't leave us "high and dry" however when we spoke after the treatment failed, his suggestion was to try Lochlor stain remover with a sock (which we'd done) and wait 6 months. I contacted Wade indicating my quartzon pool had black spot everywhere. Wade provided clear instruction and explained his product would fix the issue. I had a very thick deposit of calcium in my fibreglass pool along the edges of the floor, it could not be scrubbed or scraped off. fibreglass calcium removal kit. The instructions were easy to follow and I began seeing progress after a couple of weeks, at the 4 week mark the calcium buildup had disappeared. During this period we had a lot of heavy rain and drained water from the pool on several occasions which may have taken the product longer to work. Most importantly it worked and saved my pool. I found I had to clean my Cartridge filter twice a week to help dissipate the cloudiness and made quite a few calls to Wade thinking it was taking too long and I was doing something wrong. He was reassuring and sure enough at week 6, I could see the bottom of the pool and no obvious staining. By Christmas the pool was sparking and being used and stains haven't returned. The first two pictures I've included, show some of the brown stains, the last three was the pool in December before Christmas. I'm delighted in the result.

customer service has been less than satisfactory. Very slow to respond to any correspondence. When he does respond it's a general statement like "I'll get back to you" but he never does.
The initial reasoning on why the treatment didn't work on my pool was that there were metals in the water. These metal stains were supposed lifted by the treatment and because they weren't removed they have now been redeposited all over the pool. During the treatment I tested for metals at numerous pool shops but they only test for copper. My readings were always low. I also used a metal remover during the process that was recommended by The Pool Stain Removers.
In summary, my pool is a mess and the staining is twice as bad as it was. Very frustrating when your expectations are high and you invest your time and money into a solution that does not work. Im now left looking at my pool in its current state till when the temperature drops and I can find an alternative option in removing the stains. Please see the after photos below
