We chose the Envirosun unit because we had one in a previous property and liked its features and reliability. We were very pleased with the purchase price from Installed Today and the whole process of ordering through to installation by JR Gas and Water which was quite seamless. purchase the compatible Swann Chime accessory, I discovered that it is not available to buy separately in New Zealand or even from Australia.

I contacted Swann customer service (Case #2956751) to ask how they could sell a product without making the essential accessories available. Unfortunately, they were unable to help or provide any solution. Their response was simply that they couldn't assist me.

It is very frustrating to invest in a product and then find that you cannot purchase the accessories needed to get the full experience. Good after-sales support is just as important as the product itself, and Swann has failed in this area.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this brand. If a company cannot provide proper after-sales support or make replacement parts and accessories available, customers should consider other brands that stand behind their products.

issues with damage to our wooden floor boards from incorrect positioning of nail holes, the repair was questionable. Large holes were left around the main duct which allowed mice to get into the house. We now have issues with the controller and the roof rusting due to air conditioning pipes leaking directly into tin roof. I have been calling and emailing since Feb 24, it’s now late May 24.

The technician checked that house was without dog or cameras, and left side door open so thieves accessed that night and did what thieves do. The technician may have done instal job, but didn't appreciate his side hassle.

I love to keep my house clean and last year I bought the Sabco spin mop from Bunnings. About 8 weeks ago the piece that open and closes the spin snapped and as disappointed as I was I went straight out and bought another exactly the same as the broken one. (I love Sabco products and have other pieces in the range.) Then the day before good Friday the same piece broke and I was pretty peeved. Sitting down on Good Friday with my husband and nothing else to do I emailed the feedback section at Sabco, stating my disappointment and made some suggestions as to fixing the issue (not that I'm an engineer) I went about my morning not thinking about it. Within the hour I had an email from Herman the CEO and am having my pieces replaced at no charge. What truly made this experience exceptional was that I got a reply on a public holiday not an automated AI reply but a real reply taking action agreeing with my concerns and offering to replace the broken part of the product free of charge! I think for the times that we live in this is a true testament to a great business, 1. Always putting customers first. 2. Leadership at its best, the CEO, taking on the role of receiving and replying to feedback instead of delegating a task that gives him full oversight into the products they sell, therefore generating a reason to trust that even if the product fails, the manufacturer will look after you as the consumer. 3. It's so rare that we don't have to jump through hoops, fill out forms, argue the point, make formal complaints to have someone take action and this was so very refreshing and restored my faith in humanity (yes over a broken mop) but in today's society it was that most real and meaningful interaction I've experienced as a customer for a while.
