replacement furniture has also arrived with defects, including chips/grazes in the laminate and sections where the laminate is lifting or peeling. While the defects are mostly cosmetic, I don't expect to find this level of damage on brand-new furniture, particularly after already having the original items replaced. The design of the range is attractive, but based on my experience I would recommend thoroughly inspecting every surface and edge of each piece immediately after delivery. I do want to acknowledge that Fantastic Furniture honoured the warranty and replaced the original items. My concern is with the consistency of the manufacturing quality of this particular range rather than the way my warranty claim was handled.

The four-seater sofa developed a loud squeaking noise shortly after delivery. While Fantastic Furniture acknowledged the fault and offered a replacement or a refund for the faulty sofa, they refused to provide a fair solution for the matching two-seater, which was purchased together as part of the same set. The fact that the two sofas were delivered months apart was due to their own delays, not my choice.
This experience was not just about a faulty sofa. It was about poor product quality, poor coordination, broken promises, and disappointing after-sales service. After everything we have experienced, I have completely lost confidence in Fantastic Furniture and would not recommend purchasing from them.

$90.00 for delivery. At the time of purchase, the company advertised a delivery timeline of four to five weeks.
As of today, 16 July 2026—two months post-purchase—I remain completely in the dark regarding the status of my order. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, I have been met with a disorganized stream of communications from various individuals claiming to represent "management" under different aliases. Not a single one of these representatives has been able to provide a concrete delivery date or a clear explanation as to the whereabouts of my goods.
The communication process is fragmented and evasive. Most recently, I was told by these representatives that they "could not do anything" and that I must resolve the issue directly with the store. When the Cairns store manager finally contacted me, there was no apology for the significant delay, nor was there any accountability for the breach of the promised delivery timeframe. Instead of providing the goods I originally ordered, the manager attempted to upsell me on the same product in a different color at an inflated price, offering a "discount" that would still require me to pay an extra $188.00.
I should note that I have repeatedly informed the company of an urgent deadline: I am hosting guests traveling from Japan on 23 July, and I desperately require the furniture to accommodate them. Feeling backed into a corner by their lack of service, I agreed to the manager’s proposal in a desperate attempt to secure the furniture in time. I reached out to her asking for payment instructions and confirmation that delivery could be fulfilled this week. It is now Thursday, 16 July, and I have yet to receive a response.
This experience has been characterized by a blatant lack of care for the customer. It is alarming to encounter a business that, when in the wrong, avoids basic apologies, provides zero transparency, and attempts to extract further payment to fulfill an existing order that is already long overdue. The lack of clarity regarding whether this is a corporate-run entity or a poorly managed franchise only adds to the suspicion surrounding their business practices.
I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme caution before ordering from this group. My experience suggests that once they have your money, the promised timelines and customer service standards vanish entirely. I am currently left without furniture, without a delivery date, and with a company that appears entirely indifferent to my plight.

instructions could have been better and after a tedious process of assembly, we find that the drawers do not shut nicely because the runners are not the right size. The drawers are very hard to keep into place and keep falling even with the slightest bit of touch. It is not that we have not assembled furniture before but we have never encountered any that was so badly made. I would not recommend at all. I paid $200 plus delivery from fantastic furniture for it but found out later that it was available for $150 and free delivery on amazon! hard especially as I am a single mum with a very full on 7 year old (adhd). Fantastic furniture are aware of this. They couldn't care less that I have to come home from surgery with no bed and unable to use my living areas. The couch needs to be gone. I don't mind if I receive another couch or refund but regardless of that this couch is theirs and needs to be picked up. They have to pay to store their couch so they are also getting free storage. Absolutely disgusted.
Update: contacted my local mp & wasn't able to obtain any assistance. Contacted the ceo with absolutely no response. Contacted marion store and finally the couch has been collected. Very impressed with service at marion (they cleaned up noarlunga's mess) extremely disgusted with the lack of service from head office & noarlunga.
