Poor service, misleading description. Purchased the Don Galo Walnut Self (4 shelves). Delivery was 1 day later than expected. The product is in 2 boxes and had to be assembled also the product had a different name called the Sonoma Standing Shelf. mostly done but realise, it definitely have to be wall mounted it is not a stand alone furniture. the website did not mention this, and the instruction did not mention it at the start, you only find it after going through 15 steps. it will definitely collapse and it's pretty heavy, so very unsafe. contacted freedom about the problem, but after so many back and forward, videos, and pictures. They simply says it was as described and will not compensate on the misleading advertisement or allow me to return it. if i had know i would have not bought it. pretty disappointed. Also the product was rebranded, so if i google the Sonoma standing shelf, i would have seen all the bad review and the same problems i faced.

Follow-up · I love that this rug is easy to vacuum (bonus it does not shed and pattern hides any dog hair ) it’s so soft and luxurious to walk on even the dogs prefer lying on it to their beds! Some rugs have an unpleasant odour- this didn’t only a slight ‘new car smell’ to it. The whole family love it and our new freedom coffee table looks amazing with it too.

Follow-up · Yes, the delivery was on time. When initial dates were suggested and they did not suit, it was very easy to then nominate a date that did work. It was fabulous to be able to change the date easily. The couch looks and is fantastic- fits the room perfectly!

The best delivery service! It was a tricky out of the box location in the centre of a commercial shipping port and Vini and Eddie were champions, they contacted me 40 mins prior, communicating as it was hard to find and then went above and beyond to help load the items onto a boat! We recently purchased a bed from Freedom online which was not what was delivered, colour delivered was different to what we bought. The King Single bed (VEENDAM Effortless Tool-Free Bed Frame) size did not meet Australian standard, it was a smaller bed. multiple exchanges of emails, Freedom decided to pick up the bed and provide refund but it has been more than four weeks, they are not responding to let us know when and no refund provided. The bed is packed sitting in the bedroom with no response from customer service. We will be going to ACCC if there is no refund. Never going to purchase anything from Freedom! lesson learnt!
