Very slow delivery – Very slow delivery. Still waiting 10 days after ordering. They claim to dispatch same day or next working day. Other online retailer much quicker - usually a few days. MPW has emailed me re several products not in stock & will refund. Are they in trouble?

they've made the assumption they can send the things I don't need and refund on the things they oversold on. Good way of losing your loyal customers. I'm gone.

Rude appalling customer service – My dog recently had surgery on the throat. and age of the dog hoping he could guide me to the correct type and size of harness. He struggled as he wasn't familiar with the breed (a Boxer dog) and asked to see a photo - which I showed him. He suggested a harness that went over the head. I reminded him of the issue with avoiding contact and pull on the neck. He seemed uncertain.

At that point he called for assistance from a female member of staff who he thought was more knowledgable and experienced. I explained again the problem and gave details about the dog's breed, age, weight, size etc. As I was finishing this female member of staff interjected with a very unpleasant tone and combative manner, stating in an officious way that 'we will not take responsibility for getting the right size harness for your dog'. I was somewhat stunned by this response. I indicated that I was shocked by her starting our conversation in this aggressive and negative way. In the same manner the member of staff said 'if you haven't brought your dog with you we can't be responsible for selecting the right harness'.

The conversation seemed to be going from bad to worse. Mentally I was reasoning as follows: 'These harnesses are probably of a range for small, medium and large dogs and come with adjustable straps so you can modify the size to get a good fit. Given I have given the breed, weight, age, size etc, a person working in a shop specialising in animal products who is familiar with the breed (or at least informed that this is a middle size dog) shouldn't have a problem - what was going on here?' I reminded the staff member that I was not able to bring my dog to the shop or bring her anywhere. The whole point was that I needed a harness to do that. The staff member said 'it would entirely depend on the dogs size, weight, age etc'. I reminded her that I had given her that information and asked her if she was familiar with the breed. She said she was. In a state of annoyance she then picked out a large harness and handed it to my daughter. I had hoped to get some instruction on how to fit the harness but the tension was so awful my daughter just wanted to get us out of the shop asap.

Sure enough I had difficulties with the harness later but was helped by a member of staff at the hospital. The young man who initially served us apologised saying he was sorry they couldn't have been more helpful.

I never want to go back into the shop again and probably wont. The energy, tone, body language and attitude was hostile and combative. I have no idea why but in my view that person is entirely not suited to customer service roles.

Sometimes I have had my day lifted by a pleasant staff member in a shop. Kindness, helpfulness, humour, and an obvious desire to help along with a friendly smile can really make someone's day. The member of staff in question had the opposite affect. I felt bad for a couple of hour or so after leaving the store.

Overall good experience and happy with service but room to grow – Packaged and shipped quickly. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars because I didnt receive notification my order had been shipped nor once shipped I did not receive either by email nor anywhere in the my orders section on the website the tracking number of my order. On the website it also doesnt reflect anywhere that the order has been shipped let alone delivered.

awful bad service and bad delivery – they take 7 days to deliver a small order dont send update on the order about an item being out of stock The delivery was 7 days and then it was sent to post office for my cats prescription food! so now i have to wait another day! they never can get it together. i rarely use them with the issues i encounter. i will never use them again. dont bother with them- they are too slow to respond or deliver
