Great full-service pet store, close to station, so just a short trip by train for me. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Petstock Vet Essendon used to be good but emails dated 4/4/26 and 8/4/26 have not been responded to even with an escalation to the Practice Manager. at 18/4/26, no response received. Also support have closed off the case 10/4/26 without any further action. This customer service or complete lack of customer service, is not what customers should have to experience. I incorrectly stated the emails went to essendon@petstock.com.au which may have caused the issue but I hope their direct customer service with pets is not also, non existent.

Update 21/4/26 I have now verified all emails went to essendon@petstockvet.com.au which is the CORRECT email address. Now seems Petstock support 'dropped the ball' and provided miscommunication making the issues worse. Thankfully, the Practice manager (not sure if I am permitted to provide her name) has resolved everything and I will be changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars thanks to her.

I was looking for a particular product that I saw online but couldn't find it, when I mentioned it to the guy he said oh yes and took me straight to it, seriously my fault as I didn't look far enough but if he hadn't asked, I would have walked out of that shop in Jandakot and gone elsewhere. without it we would go elsewhere and price match and you would loose the sale. To be honest at nearly closing time both the young man and young lady were so welcoming and helpful and I felt that with their interactions that the store would be open for at least another 3 hours, NO nearly half an hour, I also work in retails and it was so very refreshing to find someone so very helpful. Please make sure that the 2 x staff members at Jandakot store on 10/12/25 , he helped me with the products that I wanted and she was so lovingly attending to the adoption boy that was in their store. I cannot find a name on the receipt but it was at 5.35pm on 10/12/25, from the bottom of my heart thank you both so very much.

Click & Collect, when the product is available at the store, is very easy and seamless. I wish I could do it with all my orders (including Autodeliver) 'cos I find waiting at home for the courier (to avoid my delivery getting stolen) is a stressful pain in the butt! Click & Collect and it's also more expensive than Autodeliver. This particular item was an exception price wise as it was part of an unexpected after dark cat sale. First time I've ever seen Prescription Diet foods included, which I was very pleasantly surprised by!! More of that please!!!

Also got amazing online customer service and satisfaction for a part of the after dark sale online ordering that didn't go to plan, which then worked out to be a fantastic deal purchasing another flavour variety of prescription food! And I earned base Everyday Rewards points across the board plus the part 1 offer (5x points) on the first order which unlocked part 2 offer (1000 bonus points) which I got on the second order!! Prescription food is expensive so all these little wins really help!

This store is always clean, neat and well organised, with a huge range of brands and items for all pets. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and prices are always competitive. Show details ·  1

The staff at the Albion Park store are absolutely fantastic, Brian, Jayde, Kathy and staff are always very welcoming and a joy to deal with. This is why I have been shopping here for the last 10 years and will be very sad when we retire to Braidwood in the next month.
