using it around 10 times, I have mixed feelings about it.

It is reasonably comfortable, but I was disappointed by the overall level of support and quality of the mattress. We have owned two Tempur mattresses over the past 15 years, and the difference is quite noticeable. I appreciate that Ergoflex is positioned as a more affordable option, but personally I don’t think the two are comparable.

The other issue that really surprised me is the appearance of the mattress once it is made up. Our quilt never seems to sit properly on it. We’ve tried different bedding, but it always looks unusually flat and doesn’t follow the shape of the mattress like it does on our Tempur or the previous mattress in this room.

There is also still a noticeable chemical smell. I left the mattress completely uncovered in the spare room for seven days to air out before using it, on a brand-new Koala wooden bed frame. Despite this, the smell is still evident three months later and is rather offensive.

The customer service and delivery, however, were very good, and I have no complaints about that part of the experience.

Overall, while the Ergoflex is competitively priced, based on my experience I would have preferred to spend more and purchase another Tempur. For me, the difference in comfort, support and overall quality makes the additional investment worthwhile. I wouldn’t recommend Ergoflex.

have found EcoKIDS, funnily enough through a referral from a competitor mattress supplier! Very happy with the mattress; it fits perfectly on the new single bed frame and is nice and supportive. has not assisted my sleep patterns. I have knee, hip and back issues as well as mild sleep apnea. If didn’t reduce my wives snoring, and apparently not mine. She found the mattress very comfortable but hated the split mattress set-up. So the bed has been moved to the spare room.

past 2 1/2 years or so. It’s just perfect - not too firm and not too soft. My only criticism was the lack of communication over the shipping. I got no notice it was coming and had to call the courier direct to sort it out. That could be improved on Origin’s end.

was a bit of a challenge, and hauling each box up my stairs to our bedroom can be daunting for some, but the end result made it all worth it. Assembly was easy, but can see if you are not used to heavy lifting, it could pose a challenge for some.This has been one of our best purchases for our home. Worth Every Penny! Our only regret is we didn't buy it with a headboard, so we would love to see if ordering the headboard addition would be possible.
